Anniversary
SugarFactory, an industrial event venue located just outside the center of Amsterdam, where we hosted a 35th anniversary celebration.

Guests embarked on a journey through the company’s history, from its origins to its tech-driven future. The evening featured a seated dinner for 550 people, accompanied by a mouthwatering meal. Guests enjoyed a variety of entertainment acts, from live music to stunning acrobatics, creating a truly immersive experience.

The event seamlessly blended the past, present, and future, leaving everyone inspired.
New Year's Event
The Scheepvaartmuseum, a venue crafted for breathtaking events, set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

On a starry January night, guests were welcomed by dazzling hosts and treated to some of Amsterdam’s most unique acts. They enjoyed a luxurious walking dinner, followed by a moon landing-inspired dessert and cosmic drinks.

The dancefloor came alive as guests danced and swayed to the tunes of an energetic live band. When it’s time to celebrate the new year, we go all in!
Christmas Party
The Heineken Experience takes you back through Amsterdam's history, all under the perfect theme, "Amsterdam’s Finest."

Indulge in a recreated traditional Dutch pub, savoring local delicacies while being entertained by a Dutch accordionist. Move from floor to floor to experience all that both old and new Amsterdam have to offer.

After a perfectly curated themed walking dinner, it's time to head to the underground (literally) club, where the party continues until the early hours. Cheers!

Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, the city of Game of Thrones, crystal-clear waters, and stunning beaches. We had the incredible opportunity to take a group of over 300 people to this breathtaking destination.
Their stay? A spectacular hotel with a seaside pool, the perfect setting for a vibrant Friday night party. On Saturday, guests could choose their own adventure, cycling along the coast, a scenic island boat tour, an off-road Renault 4 drive through the mountains and more. To end the day at a beautiful beach club, where everyone came together for a relaxed and delicious lunch by the sea.

Paris
In October 2024, we brought 400 people in privatized EuroStar train carriages to Paris for a weekend. They stayed at the 5-star Hotel du Collectionneur, where also the welcome party was held.
On Saturday, attendees could choose from a variety of activities, such as a drive in a 2CV with lunch at the Eiffel Tower, or for the more active, a 'Tour de France' racebike route through the French countryside.
Food enthusiasts enjoyed a gourmet food tour of the city, while thrill-seekers headed to Disney.

Iceland
We can bring any type of group to Iceland with either a charter flight or regular airline tickets.
We greeted this group at the airport with jeeps, then took them to their hotel in the Golden Circle. A quick dip in the jacuzzi under the Northern Lights, and then off to bed to be ready for the next day!
The following day, they explored Iceland’s stunning nature on quads, by helicopter, and in jeeps.
The weekend ended in Reykjavik, a vibrant city with great food and, of course, a party! Come fly with us...

After years of running my own event company in the superyacht industry, I decided it was time to slow down for a while. I set off on a European road trip in our old campervan until the moment came for a new challenge. And Smolders it was!
I’ve always wanted to be more involved in the creative and conceptual side of event planning. At Smolders, we get the opportunity to step in from the very start of a project, a phase where creativity can truly run wild. Together with our close clients and trusted suppliers, we shape events and incentives that are one for the books.
Combining this creative freedom with my passion for production, strategy, marketing, and networking is what makes this job feel complete.

Before starting my company in 2005 I was employed by Red Bull and after that by British American Tobacco.
I always had an interest in organising events and travelling in general. Combining the two seemed like a logical step and by now nearly 20 years have passed.

I’m a father of two young boys and together with them and my girlfriend we live near Nijmegen. I absolutely love creating experiences both in the Netherlands and around Europe. Receiving positive feedback after an event or project is my biggest reward.

I constantly want to create new and unique concepts and I enjoy working within the top segment of the events & incentive business. I want to be transparant and build long term relations with our clients. Next to that I enjoy working together with professionals & suppliers in our industry to create the best possible events & incentives

A few years ago, after graduating, I traded my seaside hometown for the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Following years of experience in hospitality, marketing, and customer-focused roles, I was ready for my next challenge: becoming a project manager at Smolders Business Support.

Here, I have the opportunity to work alongside skilled suppliers and fantastic clients, expanding my horizons with every project. I thrive on thinking outside the box, expressing creativity, and most importantly, seeing the final result come to life. Whether it’s organizing a luxury event for 250 people in Ibiza or transforming an empty warehouse into a lifelike jungle, the journey from concept to execution is incredibly rewarding.
