After years of running my own event company in the super yacht industry, I decided to slow down for a while, set out on a European trip in our old campervan and creating moments with my daughter. Until it was time for a new challenge!
I always wanted to be more involved in the creative, concept part of organising an event. At Smolders we get the chance to step in from the very first beginning of a project, where creativity can go wild. And together with our close clients and reliable suppliers we build that event or incentive to one for the books. Together with my passion for production work, strategy, marketing and networking, this creative addition makes my event job complete.
Smolders is a pro in creating spot on experiences, either this is a board meeting in the middle of snowy Switzerland or a camp festival in jungle Ardennes. Being professional at all times, always looking for that next level, always aiming for that special touch without stop laughing and running

Before starting my company in 2005 I was employed by Red Bull and after that by British American Tobacco.
I always had an interest in organising events and travelling in general. Combining the two seemed like a logical step and by now 14 years have passed.
I’m a father of two young boys and together with them and my girlfriend we live near Nijmegen. I absolutely love creating experiences both in the Netherlands and around Europe. Receiving positive feedback after an event or project is my biggest reward.
I constantly want to create new and unique concepts and I enjoy working within the top segment of the events & incentive business. I want to be transparant and build long term relations with our clients. Next to that I enjoy working together with professionals & suppliers in our industry to create the best possible events & incentives
A year ago, after my graduation, I exchanged my hometown near the sea for the bubbly city of Amsterdam. After years of working in the hospitality industry, marketing world and fulfilling customer oriented jobs it was time for my new dream job; projectmanager at Smolders Business Support.
Learning from and working with the experienced suppliers and wonderful clients to broaden my horizons. Being able to think outside the box, express creativity but above all, seeing the final result. Starting from scratch and ending up with 250 people on Ibiza in total luxury or transform a empty warehouse into a lifelike jungle.
